New speculation: WiMax iPhone, could it be possible?

17 October 2008 No Comment

Apparently a memorandum of understanding signed by WiBro with Apple Korea has given raise to speculations that a third generation-based communications technology with Apple’s hit products like the MacBook laptops and iPod portable media players is expected. The purpose behind this move has been attributed to the possibility of adding Mobile Wimax chips to the iPods and Macbooks as the new wireless data standard grades up. I guess we will have to wait till more news on this MoU clears up.
