In case you’ve missed the latest news from Apple’s Let’s Rock Event, here’s a recap of the latest fourth-gen iPod Nano which was unveiled yesterday by Steve Jobs…

The latest iPod Nano is the thinnest iPod to date, measuring a just 6.2mm thick and weighing 36.8g. There’s a new user interface, a high resolution portrait display and a built-in accelerometer which automatically switches to Cover Flow when rotated and goes into Shuffle mode when shaken. The new iPod Nanos will be available with 8GB or 16GB capacities and have been claimed for a good 24 hours of music playback and 4 hours of video. You may have already seen, the new lineup will be as colourful as always, shipping in silver, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, red and black. Shipping now, they cost £109 for the 8GB model and £149 for the 16GB one.
