With all the strange things going on with the iPhone recently, like phone stock running out and not being refilled here in the UK by O2 as well as the US and pics of the next generation iPhone leaking out here and there, I think this comes as no surprise that the 3G version will soon be arriving.

Fellow geeks at Gizmodo have now been able to confirm today that the leaked rumour was indeed not just a myth and that the 3G iPhone will be released on June 9th at the WWDC Keynote. It’s also worthy to point out that the new iPhone will be in stock and available shortly after the official announcement is to be made on the date suggested. With the recent further increase in the number of countries that the iPhone will be sold in, the latest iPhone will certainly continue to make an impact and quickly establish a position in the market as great as its predecessor did in no time.
