Someone created a robotic system that when controlled by your iPhone’s Safari web browser waters your plants!

When Safari’s screen state goes from horizontal to vertical, it sends a status update to a web server via JavaScript that sets the watering can up or down.

It won’t be long before, we can use our iPhone to do things like switch on/off lights and maybe even flush the toilet or switch on the dishwasher?
