12 April 2008 2 Comments

It’s iPhone OS 2.0 build 5A240d to be absolutely precise, Apple has now released this latest OS 2.0 to authorized developers and it’s believed that some new functions have been added, these include:

  • Contact search function
  • Ability to recognise YouTube videos that have been embedded into webpages (really needed this!)

The contacts search function works much like iTunes search, giving you a live-refining list of result.

As for the YouTube update, its brought about by the addition of a YouTube plug-in for MobileSafari included with iPhone OS 2.0.
