Never thought small devices as small as the HyMini could be used as an environment friendly gadget generating energy from wind! As you can see from the picture, it’s concept is based on wind turbines but like what the source says, I don’t think the average person would live in a windy enough place for this piece of invention to generate sufficient energy!

However, I think the idea should be welcomed and appreciated, because small gadgets like these might still be effective if we tweaked the concept abit. For example, instead of leaving it by the window and waiting for wind to turn its fans, attaching it to a car’s roof or a bike would certainly charge it up pretty quickly. This doesn’t mean you deliberately go for a car ride just to generate a tiny bit of power from it, but if everyone did it as a routine - the resulting natural energy gathered would probably be more than expected!

Great little product. I can see it be really useful when going for a car or bike ride. I agree with you that you shouldn’t just go for a car ride to charge this thing. Hopefully products like this become more popular.

One great use for this could be to charge up batteries for speedometers on bikes. Mine only does about 500 miles before I need a new battery. That may sound like a lot of miles, but I do a lot of biking.
