iPhone-touchpad Turn your iPhone into a wireless computer remote gadget!!!Did you know you could make good use of your iPhone’s brilliant touch screen function by turning it into a wireless remote / mouse for your computer? The most recently released application, the Touchpad App helps you with this trick. It turns your iPhone into a wireless, remote trackpad, which gives you direct access to your computer as if you were using a mouse or touch device for input.

You can move the mouse, click, double-click, and even drag. Vertical scrolling is even possible, by click-and-dragging on the right edge of the iPhone screen. Which means it will do everything that a computer mouse has to offer.

To have this brilliant application on board, you have need to have an iPhone that has been jailbroken and the 1.1.3 jailbreak is what you need if you haven’t unlocked your iPhone already.

If you already have a 1.1.3 jailbroken iPhone, you can dive straight into installation with these simple steps:

  1. Tap Installer Icon.
  2. Tap on the “Sources” icon at the bottom.
  3. Tap “Edit”.
  4. Tap “Add”.
  5. Enter: “http://cnp.qlnk.net/”.
  6. Tap “OK”.
  7. Install Touchpad from the Utilities category.
  8. Install VNC on the machine you want to control.
