PAL-V - the world’s first flying car???

13 January 2008 5 Comments

Although the PAL-V only has the capacity for one person, it certainly should not be underestimated! Hidden in its roof and rear are a foldable rotor, propeller and tail section which allows it to take off and fly away in no time. This concept is brilliant for those who just can’t seem to be bothered to wait in traffic jams.

With just three wheels, this flying car has a top speed of 125 mph and a top speed in air of 120 mph. It’s able to reach as high as 4,000 feet in the air and thus all you need is your recreational pilot’s license (and probably driving license).

Too bad, no videos of this have actually been released. I would imagine that the PALV would be like the size of a Smart car but abit longer, it would be such a unique experience to fly in your own car!
