Phones expected to arrive by December this year (2007)…
Here’s another round up of a few phones that we are expecting to arrive the UK by December (probably before Christmas) this year…
November
Nokia E51
This phone may not seem the most attractive for many, however it does have features like WLAN, bluetooth, mp3 player and it’s 3G…
Nokia 7900
The Prism 7900 is also a 3G phone, it’s got basic features like bluetooth and a standard 2 megapixel camera…
Samsung G800
This is the newest version of Samsung G600 if you like, it looks quite similar as well. In terms of specifications, it basically has the same features like 5 megapixel camera, bluetooth, mp3 and radio, still no 3G or WiFi though!
The Samsung G800 mobile phone isn’t just a 5 megapixel camera phone… although that’s an excellent place to begin. It also has a 3x optical zoom, offering close-up images with no need for you to move. There’s a Xenon flash for night-time photos, along with panorama shots, multi shots and macro shots. In addition, the G800 is equipped with cutting-edge camera features including face detection and Wide Dynamic Range. And when you’ve finished with photos, you can start with videos. The Samsung G800 is even equipped with video editing features, making it easy for you to create your own films.
Plus there’s fast HSDPA mobile internet access, mobile blogging and a well-featured MP3 player in this slim slide-open handset. With its camera-like looks and its intuitive menu system, the G800 will definitely change the way you think about photography.

Sony Ericsson W960i
We’ve spoken about the new Walkman phone W960i before, with a 3.2 megapixels camera, 8 Gb memory, bluetooth, music, WiFi and 3G, this multimedia phone will probably be Sony Ericsson’s greatest bid against Apple iPhone users… However, it’s screen isn’t exactly built for ‘touch’ using fingers!
The Sony Ericsson W960i mobile phone combines a high-performance music player with a high-technology 3G handset. The result is a touch-controlled device you’ll always want with you, because it’s ready to be your music library, your camera, your web browser? and your mobile phone, too!
Inside the W960i is a massive 8GB of storage for up to 700 complete music albums. Yet you won’t be hanging around, because the PC-to-phone software can take just 3 minutes to transfer 1GB of your tunes. Controlling the player is easy, thanks to the large touch-sensitive screen ? and listening is easy as well, because you’ll find a stereo Bluetooth headset in the box with the phone.
When you’re not using the screen to sort through your albums, it’s happy to show you high-quality video clips. Videos are played at 30 frames per second, which is the same quality as a conventional TV. In addition, the Sony Ericsson W960i contains a proper web browser that can use the 3G network or a WiFi connection.
Plus there’s a 3.2 auto-focus megapixel camera on the back, along with a smaller camera on the front for video calls. The whole thing fits inside a body that’s a mere 16mm deep, making this the perfect replacement for your old mobile? and your old music player? and your old camera.
Samsung Armani
Yes indeed another iPhone challenger, though I would preview the W960i over this one, I’m certain the Giorgio Armani phone will not be as afforable… However, it does feature a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.6-inch touch screen, EDGE and most amazingly it’s just over 1 cm thick! The user interface is alot like the new Samsung F700’s as you will see in the video and the button sounds are very distinctive of Samsung!

The design quality of the Samsung Armani mobile phone is, as expected second to none and comes with a stylish leather case in which to carry it around. Added to this is it’s 2.6 inch touchscreen display, which is the handsets standout feature, 3.2 Megapixal Camera, EDGE technology and GPRS which proves that this handset is more than an exercise in style over substance.
The Samsung Armani really is mobile phone made for those who appreciate outstanding beauty and design. With it’s credit card size design and being only 10.5mm thick, the Samsung Armani is a landmark handset that is set to become this seasons “must have” mobile phone.
