Just as we had expected in one of our previous posts on latest uk mobile arrivals, it’s about time the K850i status got updated.
Based on the limited information on pricing, we can see the much awaited for Sony Ericsson K850i, in other words, the first SE 5-megapixel phone does not come at a cheap price, read on to find out the pricing…
As said, the K850i is currently only available for pre-ordering from O2, we are not sure if this will change for the coming months but O2 certainly has given the K850i a stunning price. The K850i will ultimately cost just as much as the soon to arrive Apple iPhone, though you get more talktime on most of the tariffs in comparison, the price you pay is really dependent on whether you think it is worth the money or not!
The suggested offer shown on CarphoneWarehouse is currently a handset price of ?30, with a monthly line rental fee of ?35 which will give you 600 mins & 500 txts a month on a contract of 18 months! There are over 10 different tariffs to choose from to suit your need, for example if you are keen on staying for an 18-month contract but want to pay less monthly, you can go for 200 mins and 200 texts each month for ?25 per month however the catch is that your handset price will be boosted up to ?119.99!
It’s just a number game to see which one you fancy… 12-month contracts will also be available, for 200 mins and 200 texts, pay ?30 a month and pay a handset price of ?149.99 and so on… This has always been the way it worked here in the UK especially for well sought after hot phones like the K850i, the screenshot below may best describe other available price plans too:
